Tioga County extends disaster declaration amid ongoing flood response
The board voted unanimously to extend its Declaration of Disaster Emergency to Nov. 15, 2024 and recognized county, state and federal partners and volunteers involved in flood cleanup and response coordination.

At the Sept. 10 meeting, the Tioga County Commissioners approved an amendment to extend the county’s Declaration of Disaster Emergency to Nov. 15, 2024 (motion by Shane Nickerson; second by Marc Rice; unanimous). The extension was presented as part of ongoing recovery and cleanup efforts following recent flooding.
