County authorizes 2026 crack-seal program and Washington Township participation

The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 authorized Washington Township to participate in the County Engineer’s 2026 Crack Seal Program and approved advertising the countywide program at an estimated cost of $250,000.
Resolution 26-0165 authorizes an agreement for Washington Township’s participation in Job #2026-36. Resolution 26-0167 directs the Purchasing Department to provide public notice and solicit bids for the program, with an estimated program cost of $250,000. The items were listed on the meeting agenda and presented for board approval.
The measures were presented as routine infrastructure maintenance directed to the County Engineer. The board recorded the item by resolution numbers and moved the items as part of the meeting packet. The Purchasing Department will manage the solicitation process.
