County staff described options for renewing the Time Clock Plus timekeeping software and said the vendor offered a five‑year pricing structure that would hold increases at 0% for the first three years and about 2% thereafter, instead of an expected 6% increase per year if the county did not lock in a multi-year contract. A staff member explained that licenses are sold per user and that the dollar amount would change if the county purchased additional licenses.
