Library trustees and county keep current library contract in place, defer changes

Library Board of Trustees members Heather Gibson, Sharon Nelson and Lynn Stanton joined county staff and commissioners to discuss the library contract. After reviewing the items, the parties agreed to leave the contract as written and to continue discussions at a later date; no modifications or formal approvals were recorded in the minutes.
Charlie Saylor represented the Clerk & Recorder's office during the discussion. The board did not schedule a specific date for reopening the library contract item beyond indicating continued discussion will occur in future meetings.
