Grant County commissioners approve routine claims, hires and contracts; commit $233,000 to KDOT shoulder project
At its April 7 meeting the Grant County Board of County Commissioners approved minutes and claims, accepted a three‑year commercial appraisal contract worth $94,700, authorized a $2,179.98 door purchase, approved several personnel hires and agreed to fund a $233,000 (20%) local match for a $1,175,000 KDOT Road 21 shoulder project scheduled for 2028.

The Grant County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously April 7 to approve routine business including minutes from March 17, payroll and county claims; payroll totals recorded were $167,889.41 (March 19) and $165,199.11 (April 2), and vouchers ending 177918 totaling $529,384.71.
