Wise County sets early voting dates and consolidates polling locations for May 26 runoff

Wise County's commissioners approved early voting dates and a consolidated list of polling locations for the May 26, 2026 Joint Primary Runoff Election. Elections Officer Sabra Srader said early voting will be held Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at four locations: the Women's Building at the fairgrounds, Alvord City Hall, Boyd Community Center and the Bridgeport ISD Alternative Learning Center.
Srader also said county party chairs agreed to consolidate Election Day polling locations because turnout for the runoff is expected to be low; the court approved the consolidated plan unanimously. Judge Clark reminded voters that on Election Day they must vote at their assigned precinct location.
