The Ward County Commissioners' Court certified the results of the May 3, 2025 election on the creation of a Hospital District at its May 12 meeting. Commissioner Larry Hanna moved and Commissioner Guy Thames seconded the motion to certify the results; the court adopted the certification unanimously and recorded that the proposal failed to pass.
