Sheriff reports hires; commissioners approve wage increase for staff completing training
Sheriff John Walker reported multiple hires and academy schedules; following an executive session the board approved raising Teely Signer’s wage from $15.38 to $16.38 after training completion.

Sheriff John Walker updated the board on staffing: Bryce Signer is scheduled to finish the academy on June 13, 2025; part-time employees George Stubblefield and Travis Cassity were attending academy sessions during the week; Levi Nichols was hired as a part-time deputy and Jake Circle was hired as a dispatcher.
