Grant County tightens smoking policy at county facilities
Commissioners approved a revision to the county smoking policy: no smoking inside county buildings, vehicles or equipment; smoking now restricted to at least 10 feet from entrances, windows and ventilation systems.

Grant County commissioners voted to amend the county smoking policy to prohibit smoking in county-owned buildings, vehicles and equipment, and to allow smoking only at least 10 feet away from entrances, windows and ventilation systems. Commissioner John Martin moved for the change; Commissioner Figgins seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
