Mayor updates Ruston council on Rust Park testing, Comprehensive Plan work and Point Ruston discussions

Mayor Bruce DRUP Hopkins used his time to report on several administrative items. He also said he planned to meet with Terra Cotta to discuss the Point Ruston development and thanked Claudia Rombauer for donating a grandfather clock to the Mary Joyce Community Center.
Councilmember Jensen encouraged residents to attend the upcoming Planning Commission meeting for frequently asked zoning questions, thanked volunteers who cleaned up the park at the entrance to Point Defiance Park, and reminded the public about an Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
