Human Development educator reports jail classes, grief support and family programs

Human Development and Family Relations Educator Mary Campbell Wood briefed the Subcommittee on scheduled and ongoing programs. She said staff are working with Trempealeau County Jail to offer classes serving both men and women but noted some delays in coordination with Trempealeau County partners.
Wood reported 10 classes scheduled in February with 24 participants, and that 10 participants had registered for the Companions Through the Wilderness grief program. She also discussed A Better Beginning classes for separating and divorcing families and provided updates on statewide class offerings and learning opportunities.
