VDOT reports pavement, sweeping and upcoming projects in Hanover

He said sweeping operations had been adjusted to give more continuous coverage in high‑need areas and that crews would address identified "holidays" (missed spots).
Director Hartman (S24) then reviewed county transportation projects: Route 301 work and pedestrian improvements are moving toward construction, right‑of‑way acquisitions continue for Creighton Road and Walnut Grove roundabouts, and pothole/roadside issues reported by supervisors will be inspected and placed on repair schedules. Board members applauded responsiveness to recent repair requests.
