Public comment at the Feb. 5 hearing reflected a range of local perspectives on the Kelly Canyon Resort PUD. Doug Swanson spoke in favor, saying additional lodging will help keep the resort locally owned, expand seasonal use and stabilize employment. He said owners reinvested prior proceeds back into the resort to support operations and community programs.
