The commission approved Resolution 26-11 to allow the Cass County Sheriff's Office to participate in a Missouri Highway Safety Patrol highway safety program. The chair and staff clarified the county's understanding that the program will use state funding and not county general funds to bolster traffic enforcement. The motion was moved, seconded and passed with two votes for, zero against.
