Brooke Haulmark of the Kansas Department of Corrections asked the Russell County Commission to accept FY2027 funding for Central Kansas Community Corrections totaling $808,438.94. The allocation includes $739,377.14 for personnel (the director, two administrative assistants, and four intensive supervision officers), $27,720.53 designated for behavioral health expenses, and $51,810.70 for operational costs such as testing supplies, vehicle insurance/maintenance/fuel, utilities, and translation services.
