The Ludlow Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve updated Planning & Zoning fee rates on June 2, removing language that referenced tents and temporary structures.
Trustee Justin Hyjek said the Select Board had approved the rate changes the night before and noted the Development Review Board’s explanation that two-family units require more staff hours. "George Tucker, Jr. who is on the DRB, explained the amount of extra hours and that they justify the difference," Hyjek said. Under the revisions, two-family units are charged $0.25 per square foot while single-family units are $0.15 per square foot.
Chairman Bob Brandt said he reviewed the changes and observed the town’s prior fees were low. The motion to approve the changes, with the caveat that the section on tents and temporary structures be removed, passed unanimously.
