The Van Buren County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Nov. 25 to approve Resolution #11-25-2024, which dissolves the County Compensation Board and transfers its responsibilities for preparing and reviewing compensation schedules for elected county officers to the Board of Supervisors. The resolution cites Iowa Code Section 331.905 as amended by Senate File 2442 in 2024.
