Commissioners approve routine minutes, payroll and a community road closure request

At the Sept. 2 meeting the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved routine administrative items including the minutes from the Aug. 19, 2025 meeting and payroll and claims.
Jason Sharp moved to approve the minutes and to approve payroll and claims; both motions were seconded by Frank Loop and passed unanimously. The board also approved a road closure requested by the Kentuckiana Young Marines for Paoli Pike/Scottsville Road on Oct. 4, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; the motion was moved by Jason Sharp, seconded by Frank Loop and passed unanimously.
