At its Feb. 16 meeting the Pawnee County Board of Commissioners approved several procedural and administrative items: an Agreement for Engineering Services with Kirkham Michael to support a BUILD grant application, a letter of support to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, and a county commitment of funds letter to USDOT; each motion passed by a 3-0 vote.
The board entered executive session at 11:23 a.m. for five minutes to discuss land acquisition and reconvened at 11:28 a.m. with no action reported. Commissioners approved a tax-roll correction for personal property (control number ending in 26-022) by motion (3-0). Commissioner Miller noted he had provided testimony as a proponent for Kansas House Bill 2541 (Enacting the Kansas Rural Business Growth Program Act). The meeting adjourned at 12:23 p.m.
