At its July 1 meeting the Design Advisory Board elected John Watanabe as chair, approved June minutes, adopted Rules of Procedure, and the chair nominated Mary Shoener as vice-chair.

The Design Advisory Board opened its July 1 meeting with annual officer elections. Ray Nevin nominated John Watanabe for chair; the nomination was seconded by Chris Conte and passed unanimously (4-0). After Watanabe assumed the chair, the board reviewed and approved the minutes for the June meeting and adopted the Rules of Procedure (motions by Mary Shoener, seconded by Chris Conte; motions carried 4-0). Watanabe moved to nominate Mary Shoener as vice-chair; the minutes record the nomination.
