Selectboard awards MERP-funded weatherization contract to Farnum Insulators
The Manchester Selectboard voted 4-0 on April 21 to award a weatherization and insulation contract for Town Offices to Farnum Insulators, to be paid from the MERP grant (stated amount $449,910); the board said no taxpayer funds will be used and may consider solar if funds remain.

On April 21, 2026 the Manchester Selectboard voted 4-0 to award a contract for energy-resilience work at the Town Offices to Farnum Insulators of East Dummerston. Town Manager Scott Murphy and staff recommended Farnum after reviewing three bids; the Energy Committee also recommended that contractor.
