Engineer Mitch Rydl reported at the July 21 meeting that all new Secondary Roads trucks have arrived but the most recent truck showed damage to the box and hydraulic problems. Rydl said the county will delay final payment to the vendor until the issues are repaired under warranty and that he will meet with the company to resolve the defects.
Rydl also said the mechanic position has been potentially filled and noted discussion about insurance for damage to a building at the Exira location. The board recorded that the trucks will remain under warranty review before final acceptance and payment.
