Thomas McIntosh, speaking for property owners Dale and Kathy Wilson, told the commission the application is a straightforward request to conduct geotechnical drilling necessary to determine site suitability for potential single‑family development. He said Cascadia Geotechnical will perform the work and that typical practice is to tow a trailer‑mounted rig, execute borings, and return the site to pre‑drilling condition—"it should take less than a day," he said.
