Board authorizes dredging and pipe installation on Lomax Drain
Grant County drainage board approved a motion to dredge portions of the Lomax drain near 38th Street and install a crossing pipe to restore connectivity; the vote included abstentions and staff will execute work per specifications.

The Grant County Drainage Board authorized dredging of the Lomax drain (beginning near Valley Avenue through the original Lomax reach) and installation of a crossing pipe to reconnect flow to downstream wetlands and easement areas. A board member moved for the county to pursue dredging and pipe installation, and, after discussion of access and right-of-way, the motion was seconded and carried with two abstentions recorded.
