The board voted to add a part‑time foreclosure specialist position with an estimated 2026 cost of $15,737 to be paid from the property tax foreclosure fund. Jesse Stanford, identified in the operations packet as county treasurer, told commissioners the move is intended to provide short‑term training support during a transition: the current full‑time foreclosure specialist is retiring, and the treasurer plans to hire from outside the department for the permanent vacancy while the retiree returns part time to train the replacement.
