The Nutter Fort Town Council appointed Whitney Eagle to the Nutter Fort Library Board by unanimous vote during its Dec. 10, 2024 meeting. Councilor Charlene Louk moved to accept the appointment and Councilor Rick Lafferty seconded the motion; the appointment carried with all members present voting in favor.
Mayor Sam Maxson opened the agenda item after the council reviewed a recommendation from the Nutter Fort Library Board. The recorder noted the appointment in the meeting minutes; no abstentions were recorded. The council took the appointment as a formal, recorded action and moved on to other new business.
