Engineer Ryan Holcomb provided multiple project updates at the Aug. 27 meeting. He said the first construction progress meeting for the Phase IV sewer project has taken place and that the town is working to add three customers near Sandy’s Hardware to the contract; those additions require environmental clearance and Department of Environmental Protection approval. Requisition No. 3 associated with Phase IV was reported by Treasurer Leslie Cummings as approved in the amount of $312,365.33.
Holcomb said Phase V of the sewer project is on hold. He reported that Route 20 corridor work requires a DEP permit modification before authorization to advertise for bids. For AML-Phase I AMD, closeout work is underway with a forthcoming Change Order No. 3 for additional paving and screening; Phase II AMD NEPA environmental assessment has been drafted and submitted for review.
