Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened a public hearing at 2:01 p.m. on the availability and eligible uses of State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) public service funds. Tasha Maxwell of HopeSource provided an update describing how the organization has been using CDBG funds for client lifestyle and education programs that reach high-school students through senior citizens.
Accounting Assistant Mindy Delozier described workshops and foreclosure-related resources offered to clients and said clients have learned what resources are available and how to work with foreclosure processes. There were no public commenters requesting to testify and the public testimony portion of the hearing was closed.
