Committee members confirmed the schedule and logistics for grant interviews: Zoom interviews will run from 1–5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with deliberations set for 1–4 p.m. on the 27th. Amy will schedule the Zoom sessions, order lunch for in‑person meetings, and circulate required links and paperwork.
"Amy's gonna schedule the Zoom meetings with all the applicants, and there are 36 of them as far as I know it would look like," a committee member stated when discussing assignments. Each member was assigned approximately six applicants and members traded and swapped assignments to balance workloads. The group agreed to host Zoom interviews in the meeting room so members can convene in person while the applicant is online.
Staff will notify members when legal has cleared organizations whose 501(c)(3) status or municipal/county council status needs confirmation. The committee emphasized that members must avoid advocacy and must remain neutral during interviews and deliberations.
