New committee member Joe Frazier brings county history experience to RAP panel

At the start of the meeting the committee introduced its newest member, Joe Frazier. "So I'm Joe Frazier. I grew up in Oakley. I work for the county as well," he told the group, saying he has worked at the county for almost 20 years, first at the library and for the past six years as Summit County historian.
Members asked Frazier about his background and welcomed him to the committee, noting his prior local connections. The new member said he applied after learning of a vacancy and had worked with previous committee members during his county tenure. Staff encouraged him to reach out to Amy for orientation and compliance steps before interviews begin.
Frazier will participate in upcoming Zoom interviews and deliberations; the committee assigned applicants and emphasized that new members should review the training materials and the RAP mission and eligibility criteria before scoring begins.
