Councilmembers reported outreach and upcoming community events including transit outreach to Seattle, a South Whidbey Historical Society event Oct. 12, a Haunted History program Oct. 31 at the Clyde, and a League of Women Voters virtual candidate forum Oct. 17.

Councilmembers used the announcements portion of the meeting to report recent activity and upcoming events. Councilmember Harolyn Bobis said she attended the PAB meeting and rode the new public transit to Seattle; Councilmember Rhonda Salerno also rode the new transit and noted several upcoming community events, including the South Whidbey Historical Society event on Oct. 12, a Haunted History program at the Clyde on Oct. 31 and a League of Women Voters virtual candidate forum on Oct. 17.
