The Ferrisburgh ZBA told the Champlain Valley Grain Center applicant that switching asphalt to compacted/crushed stone and substituting a mowed path for a concrete sidewalk does not require an amendment to the zoning permit—provided ADA and other regulatory approvals are obtained.

Todd Hardie, representing Champlain Valley Grain Center, told the Zoning Board that unexpected construction costs prompted him to propose using compacted stone instead of asphalt and mowing a walking path instead of building a concrete sidewalk for permit 25-016.
