The Pine County Board on July 7 adopted Interim Ordinance 2026‑15, a six‑month moratorium on data center development, and directed the Zoning Board combined with the County Administrator to serve as a work group to gather information and develop regulatory recommendations. Commissioner Roger Nelson moved adoption of the ordinance; Commissioner Matt Ludwig seconded. The motion carried 5‑0.
