At its June 8 meeting the Selectboard approved multiple routine items: a facility use agreement for a Community Dinner & Dance at Story Memorial Hall on July 11 (the event is sponsored by Rep. Elizabeth Burrows, who said she would speak for "about 10 minutes"); an event application for the Lincoln Street Company picnic at Ascutney Outdoors on August 20; and the appointment of Ryan Thompson to the Mary L. Blood Memorial Library Board of Trustees to fill a vacancy through December 31, 2026. The board also approved the West Windsor Moonlighters Snowmobile Club’s request to improve a segment of West Rowe Hill Road at no cost to the town to allow safer snowmobile crossings.
Selectboard members discussed the Story Memorial Hall rental fee, which is $25.00 for the event, and noted no issues with the proposed picnic. The library appointment followed trustee interviews and the recommendation to fill the seat vacated by the late Matt Birmingham.
