The Brooks County Commissioners' Court unanimously approved routine county bills during a special meeting on Oct. 21, 2024; the motion was moved by Commissioner Eduardo “Eddie” Garza and seconded by Commissioner Martin “Marty” Cabrera. Commissioner Eduardo "Eddie" Garza moved "to approve bills," a motion seconded by Commissioner Martin "Marty" Cabrera and carried by unanimous roll call after Commissioner Rolando Gutierrez joined the meeting.
