Mark Leese, representing FEMA, told the Selectboard that Kelly Pajala will no longer be working with FEMA's Community Assistance branch and asked whether the Town had identified post-flood projects that FEMA's assistance could support.
The Selectboard discussed Leese's working list of potential projects. Jim Linville suggested the Weston Flood Resiliency Committee (WFRC) prepare a list of 10–12 prioritized projects aimed at creating greater disaster and flood resilience; once prepared, the list will be brought to the Selectboard for review and potential next steps, including scheduling a meeting with the VEM team for mid-April concerning buyout paperwork and coordination.
