County Administrator Will Johnson presented AR-26-01, an Artificial Intelligence Utilization Policy intended to provide governance, safeguards and standards for acceptable AI use by Butler County employees. Johnson said the policy "ensures transparency, protects resident privacy, and aligns AI tools with public values," and recommended a biannual review to keep the guidance current as technology evolves.
