Public-health staff report grant updates, workplan development and training
Jones County Public Health reported updates to the PHIG and PHEP grants, said staff are developing mission/vision/values and a workplan, attended a POD class for emergency coordination, and noted a vending machine for Monticello is tentatively scheduled to ship April 10.

Brad Knudson reported to the Board March 31 on Jones County Public Health activities. He provided updates on the Public Health Improvement Grant (PHIG) and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) grant, and said staff are working to develop mission, vision and values and a department workplan to guide operations.
