Planning commission approves minutes and routine consent items

Chair opened the meeting and called for approval of the minutes. Commissioner Lanier moved to approve the March 30 minutes; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Commissioner Hicks moved to approve the April 7 minutes; that motion, seconded by Commissioner Morgan, also passed unanimously.
The commission then considered the consent-site item for the police station, described by Planning Director Lisa Hannan as the site application for the police station on the existing police station and fire department property. No members of the public spoke on the consent item. Commissioner Lanier moved to recommend approval to City Council; the motion was seconded and the commission voted unanimously to forward the recommendation.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 5:47 p.m.; staff noted additional applications may appear on the June 2 agenda.
