RDAC committees refine bylaws, set September deadlines for annual report and website updates

Leslie Bennett, who circulated a condensed bylaws draft, told the council she pared down the prior document, tightened the conflict‑of‑interest language and recommended a small working group to finalize the text ahead of a September vote. "We took the old bylaws ... and came up with something that's a little more modern," she said, and asked volunteers to help edit and prepare the draft for posting.
Members also discussed the annual report and website content. The group agreed to collect resources (waiver information, DME providers, grants) and to post the membership list and terms prominently. The council set a target date for members to submit changes and scheduled the bylaws vote for September. The meeting also recorded routine acceptance of the April, May and June minutes by voice vote earlier in the session.
