Committee members raised concerns that the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) had not shared development plans for a large EDC-owned parcel along Gum Bayou. The Chair emphasized that the committee is not "privy to whatever those plans are nor have they communicated it to us," and asked staff to invite the EDC director to present to the committee before Council consideration.
