Council approved a resolution allowing the city manager and the manager's designee to execute documents for the Resilient Communities Program (RCP) grant administered by the Texas General Land Office; staff said the previous resolution allowed only the manager.

Planning Director Lisa Hannan explained the resolution before council was intended to allow the city manager and a designee to execute documents and serve as authorized signatures for the Resilient Communities Program (RCP) grant administered by the Texas General Land Office, because prior authorization allowed only the manager. Hannan said the city had received the RCP grant and the resolution updates signatory authority to include a designee when required.
