The Vernon County Board of Supervisors on July 17 adopted Resolution 2025-39, proclaiming August 2025 as National Emergency Management Awareness Month in Vernon County. Emergency Management Director Brandon Larson presented the proclamation and Supervisor Jacobson moved to adopt the resolution, seconded by Supervisor Slack; Chair Lorn Goede called the question and the resolution was adopted on a voice vote (all those present voting in favor; counts not specified).
