The Roscommon County Board voted Feb. 25 to authorize Sheriff Ed Stern and Emergency Management Director Vanessa Varner to submit an application for the Michigan Public Safety Critical Incident Mapping Grant program, with a potential award of up to $75,000 and no local match required. Commissioner Rex Wolfsen made the motion, seconded by Marc J. Milburn; the roll-call vote was unanimous among members present (Ayes: Morley, Sensor, Wolfsen, Milburn).
