Board approves temporary RV use permit for Primeau property with 18-month limit
The Sussex County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve Conditional Use Permit #2026-03 allowing Evan and Janelle Primeau to occupy a 42-foot travel trailer during construction at 15431 Dillard Road, subject to setbacks, utility connection rules, and an 18-month maximum occupancy period.

Planner Michael Poarch summarized the staff report for Conditional Use Permit #2026-03, explaining the Primeaus sought temporary use of a 42-foot travel trailer while constructing a permanent residence at 15431 Dillard Road in Stony Creek. Poarch said staff had issued a building permit in July 2025 and that footing and plumbing inspections had been completed; framing and sheeting had been completed since the report was written. He noted "the applicants are requesting the conditional use permit be granted for a period not to exceed 18 months."
