At the March 12 meeting the Grayson County Board of Supervisors handled several appointments. Supervisor Paul G. Richardson was approved as the Board's representative to the Emergency Services Commission; the Board voted to appoint Cameron Gillespie to the Twin County Regional Airport position over Riley L. Drawdy; and discussion about Elizabeth "Betsy" Shearin for a Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) five-year term concluded with the Board tabling action and directing staff to contact the appointee.
Supervisor Cunningham moved to table the BZA appointment and Supervisor Tomlinson seconded; the motion carried 5-0. For the Emergency Services Commission seat, Supervisor Richardson was approved (motion carried 4-0 in the minutes for that item) and the airport appointment was approved by a 5-0 vote.
