During a Dec. 23 work session, County Manager Thomas Weaver circulated an inventory of county vehicles and reviewed which units are in service or slated for return. Weaver said the county currently counts nine vehicles related to sheriff operations but that staffing levels and assignment details affect replacement timing. The county manager said he planned to reassign an unused Tahoe if available, but an audience speaker clarified the Tahoe remained in service with the sheriff’s office.
