Commissioner suggests using Innkeepers tax for Music Center mortgage; Council decision required

Commissioner Ron Sanders raised a proposal that would apply Innkeepers tax receipts toward the Music Center mortgage payment while maintaining the current 25/75% split used in the pilot program. Sanders acknowledged the matter is outside the commissioners’ authority and said he would raise it with the Music Center Board and with County Council, which would have final say.
