He reported roughly 30 mailboxes were damaged to varying degrees during construction; some will receive minor patching while others were destroyed and will be handled on a case‑by‑case basis with homeowners, including efforts to match brick where feasible. He added that phase 2 plans received Harris County Flood Control approval and staff plans to advertise bids this Thursday, with roughly a six‑week window before award and a return to council for construction approval.
No vote was taken. Staff asked residents to email issues about mailboxes so staff can coordinate repairs with homeowners and the contractor.
