District highlights school-safety work and a CTE partnership for ADA upgrades
Superintendent and staff said the school-violence prevention project is nearing completion and described a partnership with CTE construction students to deliver some ADA upgrades, reducing costs while preserving compliance.

Superintendent Leighton Anderson (S5) told the panel the school-violence prevention project (project #6) is largely complete at most schools and that remaining work will require comparatively smaller expenditures. Anderson said the project’s initial phase was launched with a federal COPS grant and later matched with other funds.
